Music is an important part of worship and congregational life at Olivet. There are a number of possibilities for involvement, no matter what your age. Olivet Choir
Wednesdays at 7 p.m., September-May
This choir is open to all singers. The choir sings on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. worship services and at festival services.
Joy & Cherub Choirs
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., September-May
For children who would like more singing opportunities in addition to Sunday/Wednesday school music. Cherub Choir is for those in K-3rd grade and Joy Choir is for 4th-8th graders. Cherub & Joy choirs practice weekly and sing in multiple worship services throughout the year.
Olivet Orchestra & Brass Ensemble
Occasionally
Olivet's orchestra and brass ensemble play throughout the year at special services. The orchestra leads the 4:30 p.m. Christmas Eve worship service each year.
Olivet handbell Choir
Tuesdays at 5:15 p.m., September-May
The handbell choir rehearses weekly and rings once a month, usually at both Sunday worship services and at festival services throughout the year.
Celebrate! Worship Band
Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
The Celebrate! Worship Band is Olivet's contemporary worship band that places each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. worship service. The band is always looking for interested people to get involved with the worship team. Open for all ages, singers or instrumentalists.
Flute Groups
Occasionally
Our flute ensemble performs 3-4 times per year during worship services. Other opportunities for flute players available throughout the year as well.
