Not only does the Olivet Food Pantry host two drive-through food distributions per month, we also provide “grab and go” bags to those who may be in need of food assistance between distribution dates. These bags are given to those who are in immediate need of food and often do not have a place to prepare meals.
The Olivet Food Pantry is committed to serving its clients healthy and nutritious food. If you are considering donating to the Olivet Food Pantry, we would encourage you to donate nutritious items that can be utilized in our “grab and go” bags, as well as pantry staples.
We are always accepting donations to the food pantry. Contributions from generous donors help keep our shelves stocked and ready to supply an increasing number of community members with pantry staples.
All donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at church during regular office hours or on Sundays and Wednesdays when you come to worship.
The Olivet Food Pantry is open the first Monday and the third Monday of every month. Distribution time for both monthly events is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The first Monday of each month will include fresh produce only and will vary depending on availability from the Great Plains Food Bank. The third Monday of the month will provide both staple items as well as some perishables.
