About the Foundation
The Olivet Foundation is an endowment fund created to advance the mission and ministry of Olivet Lutheran Church. Contributions to the Foundation are invested today to support ministries in the future. The investment income is distributed for current mission and ministry projects, while the principal is held in perpetuity to carry out the church's mission for future generations.
The Olivet Foundation Board is elected by the congregation and is responsible for encouraging lifetime and legacy/estate gifts to the Foundation, stewardship of the fund’s investments, and the review and approval of applications for project funding. Foundation Board members serve a term of three years, with a maximum of two consecutive terms.
