Olivet Quilters
Wednesdays, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. | September-May
The Olivet quilters meet each Wednesday from 9 a.m., September-May. Anyone interested in joining this group is invited to attend, no experience is necessary. The quilters continue to welcome donations of clean, gently used sheets, mattress pads, lightweight blankets for quilts, pillowcases, trims, and extra-wide double-fold bias tape for dresses.
Between September of 2023 and May of 2024, the Olivet quilters completed 300 quilts. Every spring, the quilters gift each of our graduating seniors a quilt. In May, the quilts are on display and available to purchase. The remaining quilts are donated to local shelters, Lutheran World Relief, and other organizations in the FM area.
