What to Expect
Worship Services
Each Sunday service lasts approximately one hour. Wednesday services are 45 minutes to one hour. For more information about each of our worship services, click here.
Come as You Are
We don't care what clothes you wear. You'll find us in a range from casual to dressy. Feel free to wear whatever you are most comfortable in.
Communion
All are welcome to the table at Olivet. As Jesus is the host, all are welcome to participate in Holy Communion. We believe that Jesus actually shows up when we gather to eat this meal, therefore, we practice an Open Table.
We Love Kids
A noisy sanctuary is a sign of a growing church. Children are welcome to attend any of the worship services. Worship bags with activities for children to use during worship are located in the back of the Sanctuary.
Mom and Dad need a break? We also have a nursery available during all worship service times for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age. The nursery is located in the SW hall and restrooms with changing tables are located in the center hallway.
Parking
Our main entrance is located on the east side of the building. There is a parking lot directly outside of those doors. However, that lot tends to fill up so there is additional parking on the north side of the church with entrances available on those sides as well.
Fellowship
We want to get to know you. You'll likely find many of our members smile and greet you as you arrive. You will not be pressured into introducing yourself or announcing that you are a visitor. So come in, relax and know we are excited you are here. If you'd like to get to know us, we have fellowship time between services from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. You'll also find many people relaxing, enjoying a cup of coffee and visiting with friends on our couches and chairs throughout the atrium.
Donuts
Did we mention there are donuts? Every Sunday, we offer donuts and coffee between services in the Fellowship Hall for a freewill donation.
Dinner
From September - May, join us for dinner before worship on Wednesday evenings from 5-6 p.m.
Sacred Ground Coffee Shop
We have our own coffee shop right in the Atrium. Warm up with a latte or a hot chocolate or cool down with a fruit smoothie, Italian soda or a frappe. Mention you're a first time visitor and you'll receive a free drink! The coffee shop is open from 5:45–6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays.
