High School & College

We believe that learning and growing in your faith does not end when you are confirmed. We continue to build relationships with our high school and college students and walk with them on their faith journey.

Journey

Wednesdays 8:15-9 p.m.

High schoolers & college age students, looking for a place to feel welcomed and unwind at the end of the day? Come hangout with us at Journey, the first three Wednesdays of each month at 8:15 p.m. We talk about ourselves, and the difference we can make in the world as we journey through our lives, to stay in touch, and love one another as Christ commands us to.

SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE

First and Third Sundays, 7 p.m.

Sunday Night Live (SNL) is a night of fun for our 6th-12th grade students held twice a month. Everyone is welcome - it's not unusual for us to have several students bring friends and guests. We play games (hide-n-seek in the dark is a favorite!), we snack and we continue to build relationships with God and each other.

Summer Trips

Annually

If you love to travel, make new friends and give back to community through service projects, then you'll love our summer trips. Each year is something different, from service projects out of state, to the Boundary Waters, to the ELCA National Youth Convention. You won't want to miss our annual Mystery Trip - where you are guaranteed two days filled with fun without any other details.

Breakfast Club

First Tuesday, 7 a.m.

Want to know the secret to getting teenagers out of bed in the morning? Feed them French toast sticks and bacon! Once a month, our 6-12th grade students are invited to church early in the morning to enjoy a delicious breakfast and a devotion before they start their school day. We offer rides to school for those that need them. It's the perfect way to start the day!

VOLUNTEER

We have several opportunities for our high school and college students to get involved at Olivet. We love our students to help out as Sunday/Wednesday school leaders, Vacation Bible School leaders, confirmation leaders and/or mentors. Our younger students look up to you and you are an important part of their faith life.
